  Went on Thanksgiving weekend and did 3km trail. Very beautiful scenery. Saw many different kinds of mushrooms. Better to go in the morning on weekends. The parking lot is not that big. There were a lot of people parking on the street in the afternoon.

  Went snowshoeing on the 3km loop. Very nice terrain and woods with many small creeks along the route. There are many views of the lake which was completely frozen at the time. Parking lot was well plowed and there was a porta potty on site.

  This park is lesser known and I'm happy to keep it that way; but it's one of my favourite oarks to see some gorgeous sights. Winter and fall are really special here, Hardy Lake is edged with granite and majestic white pines. This isn't a park managed like a typical provincial park so signage etc is less.. but a beauty of a hike around Hardy Lake, plus s longer one takes you to Lake Muskoka! It's been very icy in the winter in parts so wear your best grippers or be ready to crawl in parts
